Sitting in my comfortable propane heated house situated on glacial till left by the Wisconsin Glacier, I am pondering the global warming fears generated by Al Gore.
Thanks to Dr Roy G Spencer I will sleep quite well tonight. For only $3.99, I was able to download Dr. Spencer’s book “An Inconvenient Deception – How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy”.
In his ebook, Dr Spencer goes through the points of Al Gore’s latest movie in easily understood terms, pointing out the flaws of the movie which is based on Al Gore’s book.
Why am I so comfortable with Dr Spencer’s analysis? He is a meteorologist, the principal research scientist at the University of Alabama Huntsville and the US team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer on NASA’s Aqua satellite He (and Dr John Christy) received NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for their global temperature monitoring work on satellites. Another free download is “Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth,” a study by 32 scientists representing 24 institutions in eight countries. There has been a considerable increase in the green leaf index over the last 35 years. Their computer models indicate 70 percent of the increase is due to additional carbon dioxide.
Additional knowledge that gives me comfort is the 91 volcanoes recently discovered under the area of Antarctica where melting is occurring as opposed to the rest of the continental/sea ice that is growing. No, I am not alarmed by the 2017 “storms” – the previous 5 years were also abnormal by being almost storm less.
If Al Gore truly believed what he preaches, would he live is in a house consuming 34 times the energy of the average family? And have two such houses – one on a “rising” ocean? He justifies this by “purchasing” carbon offsets. Is this purchase through his very profitable LONDON based business GIM? That’s about as pathetic as Hillary’s tax deduction of money she gave to the Clinton Foundation.
